International airline employees qualify for interline cruise rates worldwide
· · Worldwide

Aviation doesn't
stop at the border.

Interline cruise rates are an aviation benefit, not an American one. If you crew, dispatch, load, maintain, or manage aircraft anywhere in the world, there is very likely a rate with your name on it. I work with clients across time zones, and I handle the verification on your behalf.

01 · The Short Answer

Yes — and more often than people expect.

Most major international carriers are recognized by most major cruise lines. What varies is which line recognizes which carrier, and that changes often enough that no honest advisor should promise it sight unseen. So here is how I work it: you tell me your employer, I verify it line by line against the sailings you're actually considering, and I tell you exactly where you stand before you commit to anything. Free, and usually the same day.

02 · Europe

From Frankfurt to Lisbon.

European carriers make up the largest share of my international clients — Lufthansa Group in particular, where the benefit is well established across most major lines.

03 · Asia-Pacific

The region I know best.

I speak Japanese, I've spent real time across the region, and I've sailed it repeatedly — the Mekong twice, on two different vessels. When an Asia-Pacific client asks me about an itinerary, the answer comes from having been there.

04 · Middle East & Africa

The long-haul hubs.

Gulf carriers and African flag carriers are recognized across a broad set of lines, with expedition and luxury products often showing the widest gap between retail and interline.

05 · The Americas

Canadian and Latin American carriers qualify broadly, and this group is consistently underserved — most interline specialists quietly stop at the US border.

06 · Verification

Same process. Slightly more patience.

  1. 01

Send me a photo of your current employer ID, or a letter of eligibility from your employer. Non-English documentation is fine — I'll tell you if a line needs a translation.

  2. 02

I submit it to the cruise line on your behalf. You never deal with their forms, their portal, or their hold music.

  3. 03

The line validates. US carriers usually clear inside 24 hours. International carriers occasionally take longer, because some lines route non-US verification through a regional office.

  4. 04

I quote your real rate at the same time, so you find out whether you qualify and what it costs in a single reply rather than two.

07 · The practical questions

The things nobody puts on a website.

Currency & payment

Most interline rates are quoted and charged in US dollars regardless of where you live. Your card issuer's foreign transaction fee and exchange rate will apply, so it's worth checking which of your cards waives it before you book.

Residency & booking region

A handful of cruise lines apply residency conditions to certain fares or restrict bookings to their local office in some markets. I check this before I quote, not after, so you never get a rate pulled out from under you.

Air

Interline cruise rates cover the cruise. Getting to the port is separate, which is usually good news for you — most of my international clients are already sitting on some of the best flight benefits in the world.

Time zones

I'm based in Washington, D.C., and a meaningful share of my clients are not. Tell me the window that works on your side and I'll meet it. Email and text both work; I answer either.

08 · Why me

I don't just book it. I've been there.

Thirty-five personal sailings and counting. Antarctica. Palau. Hang Son Doong. Petra. The Serengeti. Angkor Wat. Machu Picchu. Egypt. The Mekong, twice, on two different ships. I grew up on the North Shore of Oahu and I've been crossing oceans my entire life. When you tell me where you want to go, there's a reasonable chance I've already stood there — and when I haven't, I'll tell you that too. CLIA Member #00473992. Zero booking fees, always.
